The jcode mark is the halftone donut. It is not a drawing of the hero animation, it is the same thing: one raymarched torus, one light, screened through the same 45-degree halftone lattice, frozen at a single pose.

The pose was chosen by measurement, not by eye: every tilt and spin angle is scored on how clearly the hole reads, how much perspective the mark shows, and how evenly the ink balances. The winning frame keeps its counter open down to 16px.

Using it

One ink on one background. The mark is black (#111) on light surfaces and white on dark ones. Never recolor it, never add a gradient, glow, or outline, and never place it on a busy photograph.

Keep clear space of at least a quarter of the mark's width on every side, do not stretch it, and do not redraw the wordmark in another typeface. The wordmark ships as outlines, so it needs no font.

Everything here is generated by tools/build-brand.sh in the site repository, so the assets and the live animation cannot drift apart.
